It’s Christmastime on River’s End Ranch, and Heidi’s extra busy running the general store and taking care of all the holiday visitors.

One guest in particular catches her eye – a handsome paramedic who’s there with his niece and nephew. When a crisis hits the family, Heidi realizes that with a little help from Santa, she’s in the perfect position to bring about a Christmas miracle of her own … and maybe end up with something under the tree for herself.

Title:  Santa’s Shopkeeper
Series:  River’s End Ranch #18
Author:  Amelia c. Adams
Genre:  Contemporary Romance
Published:  May 5, 2017
My Rating:  4 stars

Christmas Week is just about to jump into full swing at River’s End Ranch and Heidi couldn’t be happier about that fact or busier as well.  But not too busy to notice a completely handsome and very nice customer as he’s browsing through the general store shop.  Not even too busy to agree to a dinner date with a man who has the smile and nature of one of those people you instinctively trust.  As they spend time getting to know each other the attraction between them simply keeps growing.  Heidi meets Mark’s brother and his wife as well as their two adorable children who are completely caught up in the Christmas magic happening around the resort.  Life is good and more than a vacation romance is in the frosty air.  Then tragedy strikes Mark’s family and the true meaning of this season will come into full force.  It doesn’t take long to fall in love, or to know when someone is just right for you – something that Mark and Heidi are well aware of, and how quickly it can slip away when life happens.

Santa’s Shopkeeper is a delightful romance with believable characters.  Fair warning though – have the tissues handy for some happy tears along the way.  And if you are an Christmas novel and movie collector (as I am) then you’ll have fun spotting the references to the classic Miracle on 34th Street.

I had fun with this Christmas romance at the River’s End Ranch.  It offered a great couple, glimpses of people we’ve met, some smiles and a happy ending.  What more can a Romance lover ask for?  I’d recommend this story and all of the stories in the River’s End Ranch series.  You’ll be hooked quite happily.
