Read on for my thoughts on An Unexpected Date.

If you have ever read anything by Susan Hatler before then you know that you will get a solid, fun and entertaining story.  If, however, this is the first time that you’ve read anything by this author – please don’t judge a story by its length.  Or an author’s talent, because she writes amazing romances.  This one is a bit different in that it is very, very short.  But since I have the advantage of owning the rest of this series, I see what she’s doing – and I like it a lot.

An Unexpected Date will introduce you to Holly and Dave.  Holly is an artistic soul who is living her own personal dreams.  She creates beautiful beaded jewelry with the amazing natural beauty of the mountains and forests around her home for inspiration.

The only true dark spot on her dream is the constant reminding from her mother that she hasn’t settled down with a husband and kids yet.  It’s not that Holly doesn’t want that too – but Mr. Perfect For Her hasn’t waltzed into her life… yet.

In this first story in the Treasured Dreams series we meet Holly – and a customer who might just be exactly what she’s been waiting for.

It’s sweet, it’s fun and it’s a romantic adventure – so let’s follow along and see where this romance takes us in the rest of the series.  Yes, they are short stories.  But they pack a powerful, romantic punch, so to speak.  So enjoy yourself – and don’t worry about the length vs value.  It’s all good, honest.  🙂
